![]() Thought I'd post it, even though the fourth time I got lucky and it went through (without any changes on the loaded Preset). using ntlite you can go in depth but msmg you have pre made list by its dev. ![]() msmg is good too but limited to specific list of components removal. Strangely enough this failed thrice with an error message (seemingly dismissed by losing focus) which claimed that install.wim was corrupt or could not be read anyway just prior to the ISO creation. one best option to use ntlite is if you want to go very deep inside components removal with each & every component description written right side of it inside app. Hitting "Process" I disabled Windows Defender the first time around and then wait for the processing to finish. I am attaching a screenshot of the summary page: I leave the remainder of settings the way they are ("Image format" -> "Standard, editable (WIM)") and only check "Create ISO" at the very bottom. 8 OS: 95 Joined DecemPosted DecemThis could be a noob issue, but I'm having a hard time doing the final step of writing my lighted OS image to an actual (bootable) ISO file. Alternatively I have also tried using "Save the image and trim editions" without modifying anything in the "Remove nonessential editions" node. ![]() ![]() So in the "Apply" tab I pick either "Save the image" and then check the checkboxes for items 1 through 9 (all superfluous editions) in the "Remove nonessential editions" node. To verify that everything got loaded properly, I inspect the individual "tabs" and all seems fine. Why Load button is greyed when an ISO file is. I then use the (previously auto-saved) Preset from the right-hand pane and choose "Load" -> "Overwrite". But, Load or mount button is greyed to select the image for mounting to add updates. This is the 圆4 disk with "consumer editions".Īfter adding the "Image directory" from the "Image" tab (a simple copy of the DVD image contents in a writable location), I tell NTLite to load item number 10 (Windows 10 Pro N for Workstations). is disabled due to safety concerns until a better method is developed for. but still we are searching for the bug.I am using the disk labeled CPBA_X64FRE_EN-US_DV9 from MSDN. Finally, my next-generation tool is released. I unchecked Burn to disc, unchecked make AVCHD folders options, but there is no change. I see the destination folder, and the filename at the end, but I am not able to get there. *Your temp folder seems to be at different location try to change it back to default, i think this is the problem.Īlso from what u type i get you are using your system for a long time without fresh install? possiblly error will go away when u reinstall windows first. The box to place a check mark in to enable the iso option is grayed out, along with the entire line. *Clear temp folder before running ntlite next time ![]() idk what they are for ntlite but basically for others its microsoft visual redist, netframework. *Make sure your system has all the necessary softwares for ntlite to function properly. *Make sure you don't have any permission problems (this can happen if you made upgrade to update your system in the past) *Make sure your uac is disabled and you run ntlite as administrator *Make sure your security software is disabled (real time) *Make sure your username doesn't have any invalid characters they shouldn't happen with ntlite but still doesnt hurt to check. From my basic knowledge about other softwares, I will list some of possible causes. ![]()
